Organic cotton growing is more ethical and environmentally friendly than conventional cotton growing, therefore we have chosen to use organic cotton in our clothing design.
Â
The cotton textile industry is the second most polluting industry after oil. Cotton accounts for around 40% of global textile production. Organic cotton is the eco-friendly alternative to traditional cotton. It is grown ecologically from natural compost which replaces chemical fertilisers and pesticides.
Organic cotton is grown without GMOs in order to prevent harm to the ecosystems around the production fields or damage to the biodiversity of animal species.
As well as being as comfortable and resistant as conventional cotton, organic cotton also allows us to save considerable quantities of our most precious resource: water.
Linen
Linen is a high-quality fabric used to create long-lasting, environmentally friendly, light and hard-wearing garments.
At the top of the list of eco-friendly materials, linen wins first place because of the many environmentally friendly qualities throughout its production chain. Flax cultivation does not require irrigation as plants grow naturally thanks to the sun's warmth and rainwater.
Water consumption is therefore low, and there is very little need for fertiliser and pesticides as it uses about 5 times less than cotton. Flax does not produce any CO2 because the roots fix this emission in the earth and retain nearly 250 tonnes of CO2 each year in Europe.
Paper cards
We include informative paper tags and cards in our shipments, made from recycled, recyclable paper. These items meet top eco-responsibility standards (Bauer Engel) and use water-based inks. Just like the packaging, everything can be safely disposed of in your paper bin, ensuring minimal environmental impact.
Packaging
Our packaging is either made from recycled paper pouches or upcycled cardboard boxes. The adhesive tapes are also made from recycled paper and printed with water-based ink. Like the internal materials, everything can be conveniently disposed of in your paper bin for easy recycling.
